BMI is a manufacturer of high quality, high reliability aluminum electrolytic capacitors. We currently offer a broad range of Axial- and Radial-leaded DC capacitors, as well as a full line of AC Motor Start capacitors. BMI was formed in October of 1990 when a group of former Sprague Electric employees, led by Sprague Vice President of Aluminums Bennie L. Barker, purchased the Sprague Electric miniature aluminum manufacturing facility in Hillsville, VA. We are utilizing the same labor force, machinery, raw material suppliers, and the same high quality standards that have made these capacitors the benchmark to which other aluminum electrolytic manufacturers strive to equal in terms of performance, reliability, and customer service. All of our employees have a strong work ethic and a strong commitment to provide the highest quality products that consistently meet or exceed our customers' requirements.
